Delta-sleep-inducing peptide (DSIP) is a naturally occurring neuropeptide that was first isolated from rabbit brain in 1977. It is a nonapeptide with the sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu.
